Air Conditioning Installation
Residential and commercial cooling, sized to the house first. An undersized system will not cool the place, and an oversized one costs more while doing a worse job of it.
The size decision comes before the equipment decision
The first step in getting a new air conditioner installed is working out what size the house actually needs. You do not want a unit without sufficient power to cool the home, and getting one that is too big can be more expensive and less comfortable to live with. An oversized system satisfies the thermostat quickly and shuts off again, which sounds like a win until you notice it never ran long enough to pull the humidity out of the air. On the Gulf Coast that humidity is most of what comfort actually is, so a bigger unit is very often the wrong answer, not the safe one.
What we install
Residential split systems, both ducted and ductless, commercial central air, and window and through-the-wall units, including regular and custom brackets, raising the unit on floors, aluminium bar and plexiglass work, caulking and foam board sealing, and removal of the old unit from the window or wall for recycling. We also set up preventative maintenance and maintenance agreements once the new system is in, because sizing is not the last decision that matters.

Too small and the house never gets there on a summer afternoon. Too big and the unit short-cycles: it hits the set temperature fast, shuts off, and starts again a few minutes later without ever running long enough to wring the moisture out of the air moving through it. That is why the load calculation happens before the equipment conversation, not after it.

The install work most quotes skip over
A window or through-the-wall unit is rarely a drop-in swap. We build and fit regular and custom brackets, raise the unit on floors where the sill will not carry it, and run aluminium bar and plexiglass work to close the gap around an odd-sized opening. Caulking and foam board seal the rest, and the old unit comes out of the window or wall and goes with us for recycling rather than sitting on the curb.
A ductless mini-split solves a different problem: a room addition, a converted garage, or a barn turned into a game room where running ductwork is not practical. One outdoor condenser can carry more than one indoor head, and neither side needs the attic touched.

Before you commit
Ducted, ductless, or a mix of both
Most houses in Cypress already have ductwork and stay ducted. A converted barn, a new addition, or a room the original ducts never reached is usually a better fit for ductless. Either way, the visit starts with a load calculation on the actual house, not a number pulled off the last job. Once a system is in and running, a maintenance and repair visit twice a year keeps it working the way it was sized to.
